Description of volunteers required

  • Are you aged over 40 ?
  • Do you have a confirmed diagnosis of COPD?
  • Have you needed to take either antibiotics or steroids twice in the last year for a bad chest (exacerbation)?
  • Are you using using regular inhalers?

Research Overview

To test an injection known as a human IgG1 lambda monoclonal antibody (mAb) which aims to reduce cough and sputum symptoms which in turn will reduce the severity and frequency of exacerbations (bad chest).
