Description of volunteers required

  • Are you aged over 18 ?
  • Do you have a confirmed diagnosis of Asthma?
  • Have you needed to take either antibiotics or steroids in the last year for an asthma exacerbation?
  • Are you using using regular maintenance inhalers?

Research Overview

What is the purpose of this clinical research study?

 

This is a study to explore changes in airway inflammation, symptoms, lung function, and reliever use in asthma patients using salbutamol or SYMBICORT as reliever medication in addition to maintenance SYMBICORT inhaler.

This study will include a minimum of 3 site visits.

The duration of participation in the study will be 26 to 28 weeks
