PRINCIPLE study shows asthma drug budesonide shortens recovery time in non-hospitalised patients with COVID-19

26 general practices in Bradford (102 in West Yorkshire) are participating in the PRINCIPLE study, investigating possible treatments for non-hospitalised COVID-19 patients.

The study has released findings this week demonstrating that the asthma drug budesonide reduced recovery time in trial participants.
